Meet us where charm and vintage meld
When you walk into Vintage Charm La Grange, a boutique selling trendy clothing, beautiful jewelry, and whimsical gifts, you’re walking into a story.
When the curators here buy an item to sell in the store, they consider how it will be displayed and where it will fit with the larger story of the boutique.
The main curator is Nancy Allodi whose love of shopping at flea markets grew into a brick-and-mortar store where you can find vintage items sold at reasonable prices. While it may not seem that the words “trendy” and “vintage” belong together, they absolutely do at Vintage Charm.
The store is whimsical and nostalgic, but everything from the flare jeans to the beaded bracelets is on-trend.
You can also find candles, board games, wall art, greeting cards, and so much more!
The Vintage Charm La Grange location is open Monday through Wednesday from 10am to 5pm, Thursday from 10am to 7pm, Friday from 10am to 5pm, and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
The whole idea here is to be very price-conscious. Denim skirts, jeans, and shorts range from about $60 to $100. Dresses in all shapes and sizes also range from about $60 to $100. A turquoise beaded bracelet will run about $23. A crossbody purse that’s perfect for traveling is about $50.
If you want to pick up that perfect item to memorizlie your trip, you can buy a Chicago coordinates gold necklace for less than $30.
Nancy Allodi started her business from her home, selling items she found at antique shops, and flea markets. Eventually, her love of flea market browsing grew into Vintage Charm, which now has five locations in Illinois and Indiana.
Allodi started selling mostly nostalgia items but now specializes in clothing and jewelry (though you can still find plenty of whimsical pieces and throw-back gifts). No matter what you find here, you can bet that it will be brimming with Vintage Charm!
Located at 729 West Hillgrove Avenue in La Grange, Vintage Charm is just a half-mile walk from the La Grange Road Stop on the BNSF Metra Railway.
