Top Cut Comics was founded in 1996 as Collect A Card N’ Comics. In 2012, the store was expanded and re-named Top Cut Comics. No matter the name, the store is a welcoming gathering place for gamers and comic book lovers alike.
With a hobby area for trading cards, figurines, and statues, as well as a tournament area for weekly events, Top Cut Comics is the place to be for gamers in Berwyn!
The Top Cut Comics storefront is open Sunday through Thursday from noon to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9pm.

Top Cut sells individual cards for all major trading card games (and much more!) Prices range for individual cards from as low as $2 to more than $200 for some seriously rare collector cards.

The staff and owners at Top Cut Comics playfully describe themselves as local gamers and geek enthusiasts. When you stop by the shop, you may find Eric Andersen or Stephan Ruszczak managing an event or organizing the latest trading cards.
The team at Top Cut is supportive of the gaming community in Chicagoland and beyond, which is probably why that same community stepped up when the Top Cut storefront was vandalized.
Just one day after the store got the go-ahead from the state to safely re-open in those difficult days of 2020, Top Cut was vandalized and looted.
The gaming community came together to quickly raise funds to cover the damage that insurance wouldn’t cover and to pay the employees while the store was forced to close once again.
Today the store is open with a tight-knit sense of community.
Top Cut Comics is located on the corner of Ogden Avenue and Harlem Avenue in Berwyn. It’s just over a half-mile walk from the Harlem stop on the BNSF Railway.
