Meet us where fashion and whimsy unite
Sugarcup Trading is a children’s boutique in Oak Park offering sustainable clothing, gifts, and toys.
Most of the whimsical goods at Sugarcup are certified organic, made with sustainable materials, and use eco-friendly manufacturing practices. And, frankly, everything here is just adorable!
From chunky, stylish sweaters to cozy, practical snowsuits, you will find everything you need for a child’s wardrobe. Of course, the young shoppers at Sugarcup Trading may spend their time in the toy aisle where scooters, puzzles, dolls, and comic books stock the shelves.
Customers may also bring in gently used items to trade in for store products. This is a great way to teach youngsters about reusing and recycling.
Sugarcup Trading is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from noon to 5pm. (Closed Monday.) Local delivery and curbside pickup are available every day of the week!
Costs for goods at Sugarcup Trading vary depending on the item. Save on costs by trading in “previously treasured” items for store credit.
Michelle Vanderlaan is the brains behind Sugarcup Trading. A small business owner with two shops on Marion Street in Oak Park, Vanderlaan knows how to build a family-friendly, sustainable brand.
Next door to Sugarcup Trading, you’ll find Vanderlaan’s sister boutique called 16 Suitcases, a women’s fashion shop.
Sugarcup Trading is located at 110 North Marion Street. The sustainable shop is about a two-minute walk from both the Oak Park Stop on the Union Pacific West Railway or the Harlem/Lake Stop on the CTA Green Line.
