Splash Pads and Pools - Oak Park & the Near West Suburbs

When the day calls for a dip instead of a splash head over to one of the many local community pools. From twisting slides to sandy beaches, there is fun for everyone. Most – but not all – public swimming pools and aquatic centers are open to residents of other communities and offer single-day admission or day passes for non-residents. Please check with these venues for the most current information.

 

Forest Park

 

Forest Park Aquatic Center

The Forest Park Aquatic Center features a zero-depth 367,000 gallon pool, two drop slides, two flume slides, a diving board, lap lanes, and a splash pad with interactive play structures, which means a whole lot of fun to be had! 

 

There is also a full-service concession stand for snacks throughout the day.

Franklin Park

 

Gouin Pool and Water Slides

Part of the Veterans Park District serving Northlake, Melrose Park, Leyden Township, Franklin Park and River Grove, this pool has two 200-foot-long slides and a kiddie area with its own slide and an umbrella waterfall and is perfect for a day of fun!

Hillside

 

Adventure Bay Water Park

The Adventure Bay Water Park in Hillside has something for everyone. Featuring an adult pool, kiddie pool, and multiple slides, it’s perfect for families.

Oak Park

 

Rehm Park Pool

 

515 Garfield Street

Rehm Park is an Oak Park favorite for good reason! Guests enjoy a 50 meter zero-edge pool with spray play apparatus, a separate 6 years and under wading pool, and a play area with a water feature. This facility also features a diving well with 2 drop slides, a one meter diving board, and a climbing wall. A sun deck and a concession stand are also available at Rehm Pool as well as an aquatic lift.

Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex Pool

 

415 Lake Street

In addition to their lap pool, the RCRC pool has a gated wading pool with kiddie slide and fun water features (steer to activate the water!) as well as an ADA lift on the pool deck for accessibility. 

 

There is a $15 charge for daily admission (Ages 1+.) Children under 1 year of age are free

Anna Montana Water Park & Memorial Pool

Anna Montana Water Park & Memorial Pool includes a pool with a zero depth edge plus a spray park with unique water features for kids. The pool has lap lanes, a diving board, and three water slides.

 

It is open Monday - Friday 1 p.m. - 7p.m. and Saturday & Sunday 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Westchester

 

Westchester Swimming Pool

Facilities at the Westchester Swimming pool include a 50-meter pool with diving board, zero-depth entry with water play structures, water slide, and a separate zero-depth wading pool with bubblers.

 

Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 1 p.m. -7:30 p.m., Friday 1 p.m. - 6.p.m., and Saturday & Sunday 11:30 a.m. - 6.p.m.
