The parade route starts at Madison St. and Van Buren St. and travels east on Madison St. to Elgin Ave. in Forest Park, Illinois. There is plenty of street parking (both meter and non-meter, but it's a pretty busy day! So if you want to get a close parking spot, it's best to get there early. 

What Can I Expect?

Families can expect a day filled with excitement and entertainment at the Annual Forest Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade, held in downtown Forest Park. As one of the best St. Patrick’s Day Parades in the western suburbs, the event features over 65 entries, including bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers, and local business floats. Additionally, spectators can look forward to the colorful parade units from the Medinah Shriners and appearances by police and fire departments. With such a diverse lineup of participants, the Forest Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade promises a memorable celebration of Irish culture and community spirit for families of all ages to enjoy.
