Berwyn Shops
The Berwyn Shops are a retail incubator for the City of Berwyn supporting emerging entrepreneurs, artisans, and makers who are committed to taking their businesses to the next level. The 12'x15' cottage-style shops are open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays beginning May 5th running through mid-December.
The participating shop vendors were selected by a special jury of 13 community volunteers, including Roosevelt Road business owners, local stakeholders, Berwyn resident and prospective clients. This homegrown project is fully supported by community partners providing education, resources and financial support.

Since December 2019, Ari has hand-poured soy candles, soy wax melts, bath products, and more. All candles are made with phthalate-free fragrance oils and premium soy wax. When the pandemic happened, Ari decided to focus on her business full-time.
With curated artisanal products from Mexico, Jennyfer has dedicated herself to offering beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces for all to enjoy. She offers leather shoes, jewelry, and goods. Each collection is created by artisans of different regions of Mexico.
Jennyfer hopes her business can connect her consumers back to their roots or shine light to the craftsmanship of Mexico to newcomers.
26-year-old Mexican-American baker, Bianca, has been baking since she was 15 years old. She has worked for many professional chefs, such as Chef Rick Bayless, Stephanie Izard etc. She specializes in custom macarons and custom cakes. All of her products are made from scratch with reduced sugar in mind, so you can satisfy your craving without the guilt.
Ms. Love is on a mission for all women to feel beautiful. Her handmade jewelry of clay and precious metals is meant to reflect personality, encourage women to to wear their natural hair and look like themselves without the social standard of beauty.
For book lovers, she also writes inspirational books, journals, and workbooks to help all in their journeys of self-love.
Experience the planet's positive energy through crystals from Energia del Corazon Cosmico, meaning "Energy of the Cosmic Heart." Liz is here to help transform astrology skeptics into full-blown believers of the crystals' magical properties. She's experienced the tight-knit community uplift the previous vendors like her friend Kenia of K Shulada; and is now excited for a similar experience for her and her business.
Maria plans on bringing her skills in apothecary and handmade bath products made of love to the Berwyn community. She was first inspired to make bath bombs for her autistic daughter as that was the only way to get her to bathe without a tantrum. Since then, it has evolved into a full-blown business of her connecting with her culture and paying homage to her grandfather, a shaman in Mexico.
De Mi Tierra is a natural skincare line that pays tribute to traditional Mexican skincare rituals. All of their products are handmade in small batches with "earth-made" ingredients found all over Latin America. Some of the products they offer are natural deodorant, sugar scrub, body butter, facial serum, and more!
Like many others, Huipil Boutique was an idea born during the pandemic. It started with a love for the craftsmanship you see in Mexican goods that Sonia and Alondra shared. The mother and daughter duo have since taken that passion and started curating the most eye-catching pieces of jewelry sets, lele dolls, mugs, and more items for their customers to enjoy! Their collection has grown as they have been introduced to more indigenous creatives in Mexico.
Nothing is cooler than having customizable items to gift or enjoy for yourself. Savanna has created works of art of epoxy resin items, polymer clay earrings, and acrylic paintings that she will be selling at the shops. She's only been an entrepreneur for less than two years, but this business has lit a fire in her to work hard and stay creative.
Living life with intention and passion is at the heart of Julia's business. Spoke Pockette Farm is about using all local resources to create beautiful botanical arrangements for subscriptions, container scapes, and installations.

The Berwyn Shops Open May 5th and are located at 6931 Roosevelt Road. The hours for the 2023 Berwyn Shops will be as follows:
Fridays: 10am to 7pm
Saturdays: 10am to 6pm
Sundays: 11am to 4pm
