Meet us where time is running out
Can you escape this room in 60 minutes? Once you are locked in at Just Escape Room in La Grange, the only way out is to solve the clues before time runs out!
Pro Tip: The escape rooms are under surveillance and if you need to get out of the room, you will be allowed to do so.
That being said, the idea here is that you stay in the room until you can sleuth your way out of it. The custom-designed escape rooms fit up to 10 team members who will help you solve the clues in this interactive, immersive experience.
You can choose from four rooms at Just Escape La Grange.
In the Attic, you’ll be asked to find a hidden treasure in Grandpa’s attic. In the Secret, you’ll need to discover the secret hobby that dad has been working on before he returns to the room.
In Split Personality, you’ll be asked to bring both the logic part of your brain together with the creative side of your brain before time runs out. And in the Closet, you’ll have just 20 minutes to escape the hiding place where you accidentally locked yourself inside.
Peak Running is open Monday through Friday from 11am to 6pm, Saturday from 11am to 5pm, and Sunday from noon to 4pm.
Shoes at Peak Running range from about $60 to about $150.
Tiffany Cruickshank is the owner of Peak Running. This mother of four has run more than 50 marathons, so she definitely knows how to help her customers feel comfortable logging the miles.
She had to pivot the business during the pandemic, offering virtual shoe fitting. Though running a business during the pandemic was challenging, she was thrilled to see more and more people hitting the trails while they were stuck at home.
Now, as in-person shopping grows again, Cruickshank fills her shop with a staff of women who also love to run, including Molly who is a cancer survivor who helps other cancer survivors run their first race after treatment.
Located at 18 West Burlington Avenue, Peak Running is just steps from the La Grange Road Stop on the Metra Line.
