White Fence Farm

White Fence Farm 2 White Fence Farm 1
3704 South Harlem Avenue
Riversde, IL 60546

Meet us where the chicken is legendary

On South Harlem Avenue in Riverside, a satellite location of the White Fence Farm Restaurant serves the famous fried chicken and corn fritters from the farm.

The farm itself, along with the White Fence Farm main dining room, is located on Route 66 in Romeoville where goats and alpacas roam.

But it’s the chicken that is the main attraction at the farm and at the satellite location in Riverside.

The specialty White Fence Farm chicken is a half chicken of fried goodness. It’s an entree that’s been putting the farm on the map for road trippers for nearly 70 years. It’s served with the restaurant's famed corn fritters as well as coleslaw, and a side of mashed potatoes or fries.

A Family Pak (double the Farm Hand Pak) is $34. You can also order smaller portions of just chicken ($5.50 for half or $11 for a whole chicken), or just the fixings (sides range from $2-$4).

The main White Fence Farm restaurant on Route 66 in Romeoville was closed for much of the difficult years of 2020 and 2021. The satellite locations offering White Fence Farm’s famous fried chicken to go - including the Riverside location - stayed open, operating with a barebones staff that feels like family to owner Laura Hastert.

This is the team that you will find at the White Fence Farm in Riverside. A loyal team who - along with the support of customers who shopped local -  helped keep the family-owned business running during a hard time for all restaurateurs.

The White Fence Farm business was started by Laura’s grandfather, Robert C. Hastert, in 1954. It is a mainstay along Route 66, and its satellite locations provide the same high level of customer service and quality food as the original location.
