Joana Fischer was moving up the corporate ladder when she realized that she didn’t love her work. It wasn’t until she was making dessert during a dinner party that she realized where her true passion was baked.

As guests wandered in to talk to her about the delicious aroma wafting from the kitchen, Fischer experienced a life-changing epiphany. She wanted to be a baker.

She started baking and testing cookies in her home kitchen before opening the Twisted Cookie on Madison Street where you can now try her unique cookie concoctions like the Peanut Butter Cup Cupcake Cookie (say that three times fast!) that looks like a cupcake but tastes like a cookie. The frosting is infused with real fruit!

Or how about the Oreo Cheesecake Cookie with a cookie crust that’s filled with cheesecake and topped with cookie crumbles? That same cookie magic is baked into the cookie pies with flaky cookie crust and pie fillings like pecan, apple, and triple berry.

And don’t even get us started on the coma-inducing dipped and stuffed brownies! Fudge brownies dipped in chocolate and stuffed with your favorite fillings like salted caramel, pecans and caramel, or peanut butter. As you can see, cookie dough is only the beginning at the Twisted Cookie!
