When the Mad Tapper first opened in Northlake in 1999 it was the only bar in the neighborhood.
Nearly 25 years later, this casual, friendly pub is still the place where you want to come when the game is on. Relax with a basket of Mad Tapper’s famous buffalo wings in homemade sauce and watch non-stop sports on multiple TVs.
Things get kicked up a notch on the weekends when a live DJ keeps the dance floor jamming.
This is the kind of neighborhood bar where everyone knows each other and the band lets you hop onstage to play the drums!
The Happy Tapper is open Monday through Thursday from 10am to 2am, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 3am, and Sunday from noon until midnight.
Ladies’ night is on Wednesday and every Friday and Saturday night you’ll find a live DJ or live band. Make sure to keep your eye out for karaoke night, too!
The Happy Tapper’s famous buffalo wings with homemade sauce are $10. There is a full pub grub menu with burgers, sandwiches, salads, and snacks. Almost everything on the menu is under $9.
Located at 121 North Avenue in Northlake, the Happy Tapper is less than 20 miles west of downtown Chicago and eight miles south of O’Hare International Airport.
