The Elm

23 West Harris Avenue
La Grange, IL 60525

Meet us where American fare is elevated

A sandwich isn’t just a sandwich at the Elm. This two-level dining experience in downtown La Grange elevates its American fare so that it is both comfortingly familiar and intriguingly new.

For instance, the Elm Cheddar Burger is made with a short rib and steak patty topped with sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and herb garlic mayonnaise that is pressed between a potato bun.

The Baja Striped Bass is covered in a parmesan crust and served with garlic sauteed spinach, mashed potatoes, and bacon shallot vinaigrette.

If you’re in the mood for sharing, the small plates are perfect for a communal dining experience. Try the Ancho Braised Pork Belly Tacos or the Pimento Cheese Plate.

All of the offerings on the Elm’s menu beg to be paired with a glass of wine or a craft cocktail. In fact, pairing great food with great drinks is a specialty of Chef Eddie Jobin III.

Try the Smoked Ginger Kissed Pear cocktail with pear- and ginger-infused Prolijo Mezcal or the Nutty Manhattan with pecan-infused High West Double Rye, maple, black walnut bitters, and bacon. Yep, bacon.

The cocktails are perfect for the rooftop experience at the Elm!
