The concept for Sugar Dealers started with a nostalgic candy shop in Maywood and grew from there.
Today you’ll find all sorts of sandwiches, pizza puffs, and tacos. The specialties here tend to be smothered in cheese with nachos being a hands-down best seller. Sugar Dealer Owner Alex Hardin also loves to come up with surprising delights like the “Flaming Hot,” which is layers of corn, flaming hot Cheetos, and cheese.
Sugar Dealers is open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 10pm. Closed Sunday.
Sugar Dealers is an affordable place to grab a meal. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich Meal, for instance, is just $7.50 for a sandwich, fries, and drink. The Nacho Cheese Burger Meal includes a sandwich (with Doritos on it!), fries, and a drink for just $10. Pizza Puffs and tacos are about $3.
Alex Hardin is the owner of Maywood’s candy shop. When he moved to the area, he noticed that the only place to buy candy was the gas station, so he opened a shop carrying all the candy of his youth - and so much more.
