Sen Sushi Bar

814 South Oak Park Avenue
Oak Park, IL 60304

Meet us where sushi is served in style

This family-owned sushi spot in Oak Park seats 30 people at butcher-block tables or at the sushi bar where fresh fish is served to a hungry crowd beside a floor-to-ceiling, wood-carved Buddha face.

At lunchtime, the Bento Box special is a popular option. It comes with soup, salad, shrimp and vegetable tempura, a California roll, and rice. Then choose from the options of grilled chicken teriyaki, New York strip steak teriyaki, salmon filet teriyaki, tofu teriyaki, panko-crusted pork cutlet, or Chilean sea bass.

From the appetizer menu, we love the Shrimp Shumai (Japanese-style steamed dumplings) and the Hamachi Jalapeño.

There is a large selection of nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls. Try the Sen Spicy Maki Set with spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and fire ocean maki.

Pair it all with a glass of hot house sake or split a bottle of cold saki from Japan.
