Meet us where craft beer is poured
The Palmer Place Restaurant and Biergarten boasts a rooftop deck, patio, and one of the largest draft beer selections in the area.
Start your meal with Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Dates or Crispy Green Beans dipped in wasabi ranch. Then dive into the Palmer’s Famous Corned Beef Sandwich sliced thin and piled high with kosher corned beef.
Or try the Tenderloin Medallion Steak Sandwich or the Bavarian Sandwich with sliced baked ham and turkey topped with provolone cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce, and mustard sauce all pressed between a fresh pretzel bun.
We are also fans of the cheeseburgers at Palmer Place. The Signature Palmer’s Cheeseburger is a half-pound sirloin charbroiled on a brioche bun topped with melted cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, and a pickle.
Complete your meal with the moist carrot cake with raisins and cream cheese frosting.
The Palmer Place Restaurant and Biergarten is open Monday through Thursday from 11am to 9pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 10:30pm, and Sunday from 11am to 8pm.
Appetizers at Palmer Place are about $9 to $12. Salads are about $15. Sandwiches and burgers are also about $15.
The Palmer family built the Palmer Place Restaurant and Biergarten in 1983. The casual family restaurant quickly became a staple in La Grange and on the BNSF corridor.
In 2022, Dave and Leslie Tarman purchased Palmer Place. Though there are updates and modernizations to the space, the Tarmans continue in the traditions of the Palmer family (such as hosting Shamrockfest!)
Palmer Place is located at 56 South La Grange Road. It’s just a four-minute walk from the La Grange Road Stop on the BNSF Metra Line.
