“Paisans” is an Italian word for friends, so you can count on feeling welcome when you visit this family-friendly pizza restaurant.
Paisans Pizzeria and Bar is a third-generation family business boasting seven locations across the Chicagoland area, including the Brookfield spot with an outdoor patio that is perfect for a pizza after a day at the zoo.
The menu at Paisans Pizzeria and Bar in Brookfield includes award-winning Baby Back Ribs served over crispy french fries and Chicken Vesuvio with white wine, rosemary, and peas.
The staple menu items are the pizza and wings that made Paisans famous.
Try the famed wings (traditional or boneless) or opt for a specialty pie like the Taco Pizza with ground beef, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, black olives, and jalapeños or the Meat Lovers Pizza with sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, and green peppers.
Open Sunday through Thursday from 11am-9pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 11am-11pm.
Price varies depending on the size and the type of pizza. There is a base cheese price and then you customize it with your favorite ingredients.
The price for a cheese Sicilian-style pizza is $20-$26. For deep-dish expect to pay between $17-$24. For regular or extra-thin the cost is $15-$24. There is even a gluten-free pizza for $14!
Additional ingredients range from about $2-$3.
A specialty pizza is $23-$35.
The famous Paisans Pizzeria wings come in traditional or boneless styles and are market price.
If you’re lucky, you’ll find Pete and his sons at the restaurant. Pete is the son of the original owner, Luigi, who started Paisans in a tiny corner store in Cicero with a single household kitchen oven and hand-written tickets hanging from clothespins.
Today, Pete and his two sons welcome your family into their family tradition of pizza made right at Paisans. The boys are learning every aspect of the business from designing new locations to how to properly place pepperoni.
Paisans Pizzeria and Bar is located at 3720 Grand Blvd. in Brookfield. It’s just a three-minute walk from the Brookfield stop on the BNSF Railway and a mile from the Brookfield Zoo.
There is an additional Paisans location on Ogden Avenue in Berwyn.
