Old Fashioned Candies

Meet us where sweetness is made

George and Theresa Brunslik opened Old Fashioned Candies in 1969, and today the retro shop is going strong with their three daughters behind the candy counter.

The store is known for its chocolate figurines, shaped from more than 200 different molds. They also sell hand-dipped chocolates in every flavor you can imagine. Customize your own assortment of molasses chews and coconut clusters!

The truffles at Old Fashioned Candies come in flavors like cognac, Kahlua, and Irish cream, and the gourmet popcorn in flavors like wasabi, white cheddar, and birthday cake.

The strawberries here are covered in chocolate and sold by the pound. There are also nostalgic sweets like Pixy Stix, Rock Candy, and licorice wheels. You can find all of your favorite candies here!

Old Fashioned Candies is the go-to store whenever you are seeking the perfect gift. Easter baskets, Mother’s Day sweets, corporate gifts, and more. There are also options for shipping!

Old Fashioned Candies is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 6pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm.

It’s always a good idea to swing by the candy shop before a holiday. This candy-making family goes all out for every holiday from Christmas to St. Patrick’s Day.

When you visit Old Fashioned Candies, you will likely meet one of the daughters of the original owners. Sisters Lynn White, Sandra Figatner and Donna Greenwald run the candy shop now, and the third-generation is getting trained in the ways of candy making.

In more than 50 years of business, the shop boasts a healthy helping of nostalgia both in the old-time candy behind the counter and in the store’s original cash register on top of the counter! The old cash register doesn’t get much use anymore - it can’t calculate a sale higher than $3.99.
