New Pot Restaurant

727 Lake Street #1406
Oak Park, IL 60301

Meet us where the stir-fries are sizzling and the curries are simmering

At New Pot Restaurant in Oak Park, you will find delicious, scratch-made Thai specialties and a smattering of Chinese dishes for good measure.

Start with a New Post Sampler Plate with pot stickers (steamed or deep-fried and filled with chicken, cabbage, and onions); lumpia rolls (deep-fried and filled with ground pork and veggies); egg rolls (deep-fried with chicken, cabbage, carrots, and bean-thread noodles); shumai (steamed or deep-fried dumplings filled with shrimp and onions); crab rangoon (deep-fried and filled with imitation crab meat, celery, white onions, and cream cheese); and crispy shrimp rolls (deep-fried and filled with ground shrimp, ground pork, celery, white onions, and water chestnuts). That’s a mouthful!

Then try to choose from the delectable selection of curry plates, noodle dishes, and stir-fries!

We love the New Pot specialties like the Roasted Duck Curry, which is boneless roasted duck, pineapple, tomato, eggplant, bell peppers, and basil leaves simmering in red curry and coconut milk. Or the Catfish Ginger, which is crispy, deep-fried catfish fillets with stir-fried ginger, celery, onions, mushrooms, and carrots.
