This vegetarian restaurant in Oak Park makes eating out healthy! Munch is a mostly vegan and entirely meatless dining establishment with a commitment to bringing delicious and healthy food to the community.

Try the Badass Beet Burger in which the patty is made from beets, chickpeas, red quinoa, sauteed bell peppers, and portobellos, and the bun is made from oatmeal.

The “Meaty” Stuffed Peppers are a fan favorite at Munch in which the “chorizo” vegetable mixture is joined with quinoa and a house-made, smokey marinara sauce.

Here salads are meals. Try the Hippy Hemp Salad or the Kale Caesar Salad with Cashew Parmigiano to fill you up.

The Wild Mushrooms Polenta and Greens is a gluten-free option with shitake, crimini, and portobello mushrooms sauteed in a red-wine reduction sauce over house-made polenta and topped with sauteed greens. The Vegan Lasagna is layered with seasoned and roasted eggplant, mushrooms, spinach, and tofu ricotta.


The vegan shakes come in flavors like banana cream and peanut butter cookie dough. The Chocolate Mousse Cake starts with cashews and raw coco before being whipped into a rich and creamy cake with a nutty crust.
