"Mother's Day" represents relationships in our lives that are built and grown every day over delicious meals.
Breakfast and brunch fare includes eggs benedict, skillets, waffles and pancakes. Daily specials for lunch and dinner range from stuffed cabbage to pepper steak to roast turkey with all the homemade trimmings. Sandwiches include burgers, wraps and clubs of all varieties. Salads include a delightful chopped salad, and they offer four different soups made from scratch every day.
Mother’s Day Restaurant is open from 7 am to 8:30 pm seven days a week.
Most breakfast entrees run between $10-$12. Lunch and dinner entrees range from $12-$20. The deluxe bacon avocado burger costs about $15 and includes soup and French fries or fresh fruit on the side.
The restaurant began as a shared dream of Greek immigrant brothers Pete and the late Bobby Paleothodoros. They moved their lives to Chicago to build something meaningful, and opened their restaurant in North Riverside back in 1982.
