This family-owned restaurant is a dining destination in Oak Park. Maya Del Sol mixes fare from Mexico, Central America, and South America in an innovative, flavorful menu featuring recipes that have been handed down for generations.
Seasonal ingredients and specials are rotated weekly next to an extensive beverage menu that includes margaritas that are all shaken and served tableside. With live music events to complement the margarita shaking, the atmosphere at Maya is energetic and fun.
Maya is open Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm to 9pm, Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 1pm, and Sunday from 10am to 8pm.

A margarita shaken and served tableside is $9-$12. Entrees range from $18 to $46 for a center-cut filet served with habanero-sangria reduction sauce.
Tables for live music events are seated on a first-come, first-served basis. There is usually no cover charge, but reservations are recommended.

Likely it is General Manager Chris Ramirez who you will see chatting with guests when you visit.
Ramirez started working at Maya Del Sol as a busser while he earned his degree in finance and economics. He was promoted to a server and then to the event coordinator and then to the assistant general manager. In 2016, Ramirez became the general manager of Maya, taking the reigns for a restaurant where he has worked in nearly every position!
Even though he studied economics, Ramirez found his passion in hospitality. He enjoys talking with the guests who sit down at Maya Del Sol for a meal to remember.
Maya Del Sol is located at 144 S. Oak Park Avenue. It’s steps from the train tracks of the CTA Green Line’s Oak Park Stop. The restaurant is just 10 miles west of downtown Chicago.
