Mak's Burger Bar

46 South La Grange Road
La Grange, IL 60525

Meet us where a hidden beer garden beckons

The mission at Mak’s House La Grange is to bring an urban vibe to the ‘burbs. This is where a hidden beer garden called “the hideout” is decorated by the best graffiti artists in Chicagoland, making for a colorful backdrop to enjoy some of the best wings around.

If you dine indoors, there is a sure to be a game on given the 10 TVs that line the walls inside!

But let’s get to those wings, shall we? We’re talking housemade wings with styles to choose from like jerk-dry rub, garlic parmesan, sweet BBQ, Korean BBQ, or classic buffalo.

And as much as the wings here are something to write home about, the burger menu is what’s earning this restaurant a name around Chicagoland. The Burger-Burger (Mak’s says it’s so good you have to say it twice!) is two fresh patties with cheddar and American cheese, chopped red onion, fresh pickles, and housemade dijonnaise pressed between a toasted brioche bun.

Then there’s the El Chingon, which is a double patty with housemade habanero cream, bacon, and sliced cheddar all topped with fresh, grilled-to-order jalapeno pepper and sprinkled with salt and pepper.

The Fahget Aboudit Burger is a quarter-pound fresh-beef patty with prosciutto, provolone, roasted red pepper, and garlic parmesan dressing on toasted brioche.

The drinks at Mak’s are defined by their color. The Red Drink is Crown Apple, orange curacao, raspberry syrup, Grenadine, and a dash of Tabasco. The Orange Drink is the Mak’s take on a Screwdriver with Grey Goose Vodka and OJ (they call this one “wake-up juice” at Mak’s House!)

You’ll have to stop in at Mak’s to learn about the pink, blue, yellow, and green drinks!
