La Notte Ristorante Italiano

Meet us where Tuscan flavors are served in a speakeasy vibe

With family recipes from Rome, Tuscany, and Bari simmering in the kitchen, there is no wonder that this restaurant is a winner of the Chicago Tribune’s Best Italian Dinner Award.

Newly relocated from Marion Street to the Carleton Hotel, La Notte Ristorante Italiano serves delicious Italian dishes in a dining space reminiscent of a speakeasy. It’s a winning combination for Oak Park.

Start with the bruschetta or the zuppa del giorno (soup of the day).

Then try the Orecchiette della Casa (shrimp, sundried tomatoes, and rapini in garlic and oil) or the Pork Chop Vesuvio (bone-in and baked in a traditional Vesuvio sauce with rosemary and potatoes).

We love the homemade Chocolate Mouse for dessert. Step it up a notch with the La Notte signature dessert called The Tulip due to the tulip-shaped chocolate cup that’s filled with tiramisu, chocolate mouse, and fresh strawberries.

Executive Chef and Owner Giovanni Mancini is the genius behind the old-world Italian cuisine you’ll discover at La Notte Ristorante Italiano. Mancini draws on the teachings of his great-great-grandmother who taught him the family recipes long before he arrived in the United States to study at culinary school.
