Meet us where the beer comes first
It’s all about the beer at Imperial Oak Brewing where three beer lovers got together to bring the community small-batch, barrel-aged brews in a festive atmosphere.
With roll-up doors and picnic tables spread out along a sprawling patio, this brewery is the perfect place for the food trucks that park here on the weekends. There is no kitchen inside the space. It really is about the beer here!
The on-tap selection changes bi-weekly if not weekly, so no two visits are the same in terms of taste. The beer is poured from taps with custom-made handles while you settle into custom-made tables or pull up a stool at the custom-made bar.
But it’s the beer that boasts the custom-made ribbons at Imperial Oak. It’s all about small-batch experimentation behind this bar. The barrels used here may have once held fruits or spices or even wine, giving a unique taste to the beer.
For being a small brewery, the diversity in offerings is impressive. The beer masters at Imperials Oak always try to have a beer from every genre (dark, light, hoppy), and they even have a line of sour beers that are brewed with wild yeast.
The brewery is open every afternoon and evening. When the weather gets warm the patio and picnic tables are a beautiful place to relax with a locally brewed beer.

When passionate homebrewers Brett Semenske and Grant Hamilton teamed up with bar owner Chris DiBraccio, Imperial Oak Brewing was born.
With a ton of experience in brewing and the bar industry, the trio is well-equipped to tap into great experiences for beer lovers on every visit.
Imperial Oak Brewing is located at 9526 Ogden Avenue in Brookfield. It’s a little more than a half-mile walk from the LaGrange Road stop on the BNSF Railway. The most popular way to get here is by bike as the brewery is near the trails beside the historic I&M Canal.
