Gosia's Coffee Shop

8836 Brookfield Avenue
Brookfield, IL 60513

Meet us where everybody knows your name

Margaret “Gosia” Glimco is a Polish immigrant whose American dream was to open a coffee shop. When the coveted space across from the Brookfield train station opened up, Gosia took a chance on a dream that was 15 years in the making.

At Gosia’s, you’ll find a welcoming, pet-friendly space with comfortable seating. This is the kind of independent coffee shop where a dog greets you with a lick and the owner greets you by name when you walk through the door.

The menu is simple with well-made coffee drinks brewed with Colectivo coffee. Colectivo is roasted in Milwaukee with beans carefully selected from farmers and cooperatives around the world.

You’ll find all the standard lattes and espresso drinks here as well as a Dead-Eye Coffee with three shots of espresso for those days when you need a pick-me-up.

The signature drinks on Gosia’s Barista Creations menu get a little more playful. Try the Cookies & Cream for an espresso drink with milk, ice, and crumbled sandwich cookies or the Malibu Chai, which is a twist on a traditional chai with coconut milk and sweet vanilla.

Gosia’s also sells organic, award-winning Rishi teas like Blueberry Hibiscus and Peach Nectar.

Or go a different route, and opt for a smoothie made with five servings of fruit. The Four Berry Blend with raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries is the perfect way to start your day!

The baked goods are made from scratch by Troubadour Bakery and delivered fresh each morning.
