Meet us where the pizza is made fresh daily
From prominent Chicagoland restaurateur Scott Harris, Fiore Pizzeria and Bakery makes wood-fired pizza and handmade pasta that’s made fresh daily with carefully selected ingredients.
Though part of the sprawling Scott Harris Hospitality Group, Fiore maintains an intimate atmosphere with its welcoming, red-trimmed entryway and its handwritten menus.
On that seasonal menu, you might find Pacheri (large rigatoni, vodka sauce, Calabrian breadcrumbs, basil, and Parmigiano) or Creste di Gallo (wood-roasted chicken, pepperonata, crumbled goat cheese, and basil).
Of course, you’ll find seasonal, wood-fired pizza like the Pizza Sweet Corn with parmesan cream, black truffle, onion, chili flakes, and garlic or the Pizza Carne Asada with spicy San Marzano sauce, pecorino, pickled sweet peppers, mozzarella, onion, and skirt steak. For something a bit more traditional, try the Pizza Margherita Fiore with San Marzano sauce, basil, pecorino romano, and mozzarella di bufula.
The brunch menu might include a pork-belly hash with poached eggs, hollandaise, and avocado or a Nutella French Toast with marshmallow whip, graham-cracker crumble, and brioche. Yum!
Bonus: There is an adjoining market with made-to-order sandwiches and baked goods for when you’re on the go!
Fiore is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30am to 9pm, Friday 11:30am to 10pm, Saturday from 10am to 10pm, and Saturday from 10am to 8pm.
Mercato di Fiore is open 10am to 6pm.
A wood-fired pizza starts at about $16. Entrees cost between $16 and $25.
It all started for Chef Scott Haris with the concept of a casual Italian restaurant that became the breakout hit Mia Francesca in Chicago’s Lake View neighborhood. Now the Scott Harris Hospitality group has restaurants and wine bars stretching all the way to the West Coast.
Harris stays true to his Chicago roots by hiring talented local chefs at his Chicagoland establishments.
Fiore is located at 7407 Madison Street in Forest Park. The pizzeria is just a half-mile walk from the Harlem Stop on the CTA Blue Line and less than a mile walk from the Clinton Stop on the CTA Green Line.
