Meet us where live music and Italian dining mingle
Donny G’s Ristorante and Bar is a mainstay in Elmwood Park. With fresh ingredients sourced from local farmers’ markets and live music on the weekend, this is the gathering place for the neighborhood.
Try the baked artichoke hearts or steamed mussels to start your meal. Split an avocado or meatball salad while you wait for your entree. Then dine on pork chops (with rosemary truffle sauce!) or grilled lamb chops.
The fresh pasta dishes here include Capellini Siciliana (eggplant, sweet red peppers, kalamata olives, and capers in red gravy with fresh basil) and Four Corner Pasta (rigatoni, mushrooms, peas, and crumbled sausage in a tomato cream sauce).
Live entertainment at Donny G’s is a staple on the weekend. There are also karaoke nights on some weekdays!
Donny G’s is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11:30am to 10pm, Friday from 11:30am to 11pm, Saturday from 4pm to 11pm, and Sunday from 11:30am to 9pm.
Don’t miss Friday and Saturday evenings in the lounge when live music rocks the stage!
On the dinner menu, starters range from $10 to $26 for the Grigliata Pesce (octopus, shrimp, and calamari). Salads are about $15. Pasta dishes are about $20. Steaks and chops at Donny G’s range from $21 to $44 for the Brine Lamb Chops.
A lunch menu appetizer ranges from $4 to $10 while salads are about $8. Sandwiches are about $10. Lunch pasta plates and entrees are between $10 and $12.
Donny Grecko is the owner of the aptly named Donny G’s Ristorante and Bar, and he’ll greet you at the door as you walk in. He is one of those restaurant owners who knows his customers by name and thrives on his conversations with the restaurant regulars.
Located at 7308 West North Avenue in Elmwood Park, Donny G’s is just 12 miles from downtown Chicago.
