This family-owned, family-operated pizza restaurant has served Chicagoland’s best-known thin-crust pizza since 1968! In an area known for deep-dish, D’Agostino’s Pizza and Pub has carved out a niche as kings of the thin crust.
Known locally as Dag’s, this pizza joint is an authentic Italian experience in a family-friendly environment.
The thin-crust pizzas can be ordered vegetarian with your choice of four vegetables, or meat-heavy with your choice of four types of meat. There is also a Greek-style pizza (roasted garlic, feta cheese, and red peppers) or a Smokehouse BBQ pizza with caramelized onions, BBQ sauce, and your choice of chicken brisket or pork.
We love Dag’s special pizza with homemade sausage, mushrooms, green pepper, and onion.
Of course, you don’t have to order a thin-crust specialty at D’Agostino’s. You can choose pan-crust or stuffed pizza, too! And there are also grilled paninis, pasta entrees, salads, and more.
There is even a dog menu at Dag’s for Fido!
D’Agostino’s Pizza and Pub in River Grove is open Monday through Thursday 11am to 9pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 10pm.
A thin-crust 16” pizza at Dag’s will be between $15 and $21.

Conveniently accessible from public transportation by way of Metra’s Milwaukee District West Train. Dag’s River Grove is located at 3131 Thatcher Avenue, just a seven-minute walk from the River Grove Stop.
