Meet us where memories are cooked
The idea behind Currito is that memories are created over the dining table. With a commitment to connecting with guests and to ingredients sourced from local farms, the Currito experience is one that you won’t soon forget!
At Currito Oak Park, the menu is packed with healthy items like the Superfood Salad with kale, arugula, quinoa, feta cheese, edamame, carrots, raisins, chickpeas, and almonds in a house vinaigrette.
Or start with healthy grains in a bowl or wrap and add your favorite ingredients. Currito chefs recommend the Mediterranean-style bowl or wrap with house-made hummus, brown rice, feta cheese, tomato salsa, cucumber, and house vinaigrette or the Harvest-style with roasted sweet potato, farro, arugula, pumpkin seeds, golden raisins, almonds, and house vinaigrette. Add grilled chicken, steak, or organic tofu to your wrap or bowl for a filling and heart-healthy meal.
Pair your meal with a smoothie like Berry Blend or Strawbana!
Currito Oak Park is open Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 9pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 9pm.
Bowls and wraps are about $8 at Currito. The Superfood Salad starts at about $8.50. A smoothie starts at about $5.50.
Currito was the very first restaurant concept of the massive Thunderdome Restaurant Group led by brothers Joe and John Lanni.
The brothers grew up in Cincinnatti where their father owned a restaurant, giving them a taste of the industry. In time, both moved to Chicago where they each worked in prominent restaurant groups in the city.
In 2005, the Lanni brothers started their own restaurant group. Currito, their first restaurant endeavor, now has more than 24 locations across six states. Today, the Thunderdome Restaurant Group portfolio also includes Bakersfield, The Eagle, Krueger’s Tavern, SoHi, and Maplewood.
The Oak Park location of Currito is located at 1100 Lake Street. It is about a five-minute walk from both the Oak Park Stop on the Union Pacific West Railway or the Harlem/Lake Stop on the CTA Green Line.
