Citrine Cafe

100 South Oak Park Avenue
Oak Park, IL 60302

Meet us where America and the Mediterranean unite

Restaurateur Branko Palikuca mingles Mediterranean food with American fare at Citrine where the braised and brined meats are cooked in a brick oven inside clay pots.

Simple dishes are given a complex finish at this high-end establishment where the pasta for the classic Roman Cacio e Pepe is homemade and the beef for the Angus Burger is ground onsite.

When possible, ingredients for the Citrine menu are sourced locally and that includes the craft cocktail and draft beer selection that features local favorites like the Kinslahger Chicago Common Pilsner.

Menus change seasonally at Citrine Cafe. If you’re lucky the menu will be featuring the Cacio e Pepe with spaghetti, black pepper, pecorino romano, and lump crab meat or the Angus Braised Short Rib with parsnip puree, green beans, and BBQ demi-glaze.

Pair your meal with a house cocktail like the Hemingway Daiquiri with white rum and grapefruit or the Red October with rye whiskey, bitters, falernum, orgeat syrup, and lemon.
