Meet us where old-world charm is exuded
Caffe De Luca captures the essence of an outdoor cafe in Europe. Whether you sit indoors or on the rooftop terrace, you will feel like you're sipping your wine on an Italian plaza.
From the Venetian lanterns to the wrought-iron rails leading to the second floor and the indoor fireplace, this restaurant is the definition of old-world charm.
Try the Lamb Osso Buco (braised lamb shank, parmesan mashed potatoes, and vegetables) or the Chicken Marsala (sauteed chicken, mushrooms, and marsala wine over fettuccine).
Opt for the Eggplant Parmesan (breaded and fried eggplant layered with mozzarella, parmesan, and Pomodoro sauce over penne pasta) or the Truffle Gnocchi (creamy parmesan sauce, truffle oil, and fresh herbs).
The pizzas are pretty special here. We love the Abruzzo with pepperoni, green olives, shredded mozzarella, and garlic.
Caffe De Luca is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 9pm and Sunday from 10am to 9pm.
Wednesday means 25 percent of all bottles of wine at Caffe De Luca. Sunday means $6 bloody marys and mimosas. You don’t want to miss Sunday brunch at De Luca’s (10am-2pm)!
House specials range from about $22 to about $30. Pizzas start at about $18.
Owners Art and Michelle Sundry own Caffee De Luca. They have relied on word of mouth to keep their restaurant busy, and it is certainly working!
Located at 7427 Madison Street in Forest Park, Caffe De Luca is just a ten-minute walk from the Harlem Stop on the CTA Blue Line Train or a 15-minute walk from the Harlem/Lake Stop on the CTA Green Line.
