Meet us where the kitchen is open
Many Bill’s Place customers have been bantering with the cooks through the window of the open kitchen at Bill’s Place since Bill Konstantapoulos first opened the restaurant doors in 1983.
Those customers know that they can enjoy a delicious and reliable Italian beef or gyro and they followed Bill when he moved the restaurants from nearby Brookfield to La Grange Park.
Here you can order a single sandwich or you can go big and get your Italian beef and sausage by the pound and your baked mostaccioli by the tray or half-tray. You won’t want to miss the chicken wings because Bill’s Place is the winner of a Broaster Foods Golden Chicken Award.
And you definitely won’t want to miss dessert from the Maple Avenue Creamerly located inside Bill’s Place. With more than 18 flavors of hand-packed ice cream and more than 20 flavors of Hawaiian shaved ice, there is something for every sweet tooth here.
This is one of those places where you are always welcomed. The menu here says it all: “Welcome to Bill’s Place.”
Bill’s Place is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
A homemade Italian Beef Sandwich served with sweet or hot peppers starts at $9. If you want to order for the family, Italian beef is $13 per pound. Italian sausage is $10.50 per pound.
A double scoop of hand-packed ice cream is about $4. Bill’s Favorite Turtle Sundae with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, caramel, whip cream, pecans, and a cherry on top is about $4 for a single scoop or about $5 for a double scoop.
