Autre Monde Cafe & Spirits

Meet us where friendship is the key ingredient

The Mediterranean coastline is calling! Autre Monde celebrates the culinary diversity that stretches from France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, and North Africa. The menu here is authentic, delicious, and entirely approachable.

The restaurant and Mediterranean-inspired menu are designed and operated by two restaurateur couples who collectively make up four friends with a wealth of food and beverage knowledge.

These foodie friends joined together to create a cozy café with a neighborhood vibe and a menu to dream about.

Try the Wood-Fired Duroc Pork Chop with roasted potato and fennel or the Bangs Island Mussels in chorizo, garlic, and white wine.

Don’t miss the extensive cocktail and wine collection and consider finishing off your meal with a Chocolate Old Fashioned. Cheers!

Autre Monde is a passion project for Christine Tully Aranza. She grew up in the Berwyn area but went to Chicago to earn her restaurant expertise, working her way up from hostess to the head of operations at Spiaggia.

Opening Autre Monde in her home community alongside her husband and Sommelier, John Aranza, is a dream fulfilled.

When you dine at Autre Monde you may catch the Aranzas working alongside another couple with deep experience in the Chicago restaurant scene. Autre Monde business partners Beth Patridge and Dan Pancake are the chefs behind the well-executed menu with a nod to the Mediterranean coastline.
