Meet us where painting and pottery are at play
A playful and creative destination for kids and adults alike, the Ceramic Art Cafe is a studio where you can create a ceramic masterpiece!
Swing by the studio and choose a ceramic piece from the wide variety of pottery selections like cups, bowls, teapots, and piggy banks. The ceramic pieces are blank canvases for you to design.
Next, you will select from more than 80 paint colors, arm yourself with a paintbrush, and start creating!
Once you’ve finished, you just leave your painted pottery at the studio for glazing and firing. Your ceramic masterpiece will be ready in a week!
It will also be ready for the dishwasher, oven, and microwave; the non-toxic pieces are safe for all your kitchen appliances.
Studio hours are Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5pm at the Ceramic Art Cafe. Special appointments are available upon request.
The Ceramic Art Cafe also offers party packages for birthday parties or corporate events. Bring in your own food for birthday bonanzas and your own drinks for bachelorette parties!
Be sure to check the calendar for special events as well. There are family nights for the whole fam to get their paint on!
There is an $8 studio fee per person, which includes paint, supplies, assistance, glaze, and firing.
Party packages are available for between $14-$17 per participant depending on the package selected.

The Ceramic Art Cafe is located at 26 South La Grange Road. It is a three-minute walk from the LaGrange Road stop on the BNSF metra line or a 30-minute drive from downtown Chicago.
